Accredited by Exercise and Sport Science Australia as an Exercise Scientist, Jack has developed into the allied health industry with significant passion and dedication to achieving health and fitness goals of all kinds. With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Human Movement) he emerged into the exercise and sport field before currently undergoing a Master’s of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation degree at Victoria University.
Empowering clients through the education and application of fundamental strength based movements; I take a preventative approach to injury through correctional based exercises and personalized goals.
I’ve been a dancer all my life with significant achievements through the Australian Ballet and most notably abroad in the tap dance scene as the coach of the Australian Tap Team. Management and rehabilitation of my athletes as well as my own rehabilitative encounters have been a driving force of experience and inspiration as I continue study in the allied health field. Continued education is of utmost importance to me, through my accrediting body (ESSA) and updated research.
On top of my Master’s degree, I’m currently undertaking research at Victoria University, studying the effects of acute exercise on the body and specifically blood glucose responses. The study is aimed to develop an understanding towards exercise as a preventative factor in conditions such as diabetes.
With a strong evidence based influence, I hope to be a positive addition to your multi-disciplinary team at South Yarra Spine and Sports Medicine to strengthen your goals and aspirations, whatever they may be.
