The Run Screen analyses and examines your running through a clinical assessment of strength, flexibility and movement control. Our performance running team will report biomechanical and clinical findings to help you improve your running performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Our performance running team are here to analyse and examine your running through a clinical assessment of strength, flexibility and movement control. In your session, you’ll work with a highly qualified allied health practitioner who will assess your form for imbalances or asymmetries that could affect performance. This assessment will include a functional scan analysing muscle imbalances, patterning, strength, neuromuscular control, as well as a running gait analysis.
HOW IT WORKS
Once you have signed up to your Run Screen, you will be sent a questionnaire that will examine your health and running background. This questionnaire will help guide your running specialist review. The warm up will examine medical health, footwear, injuries, training principles and nutrition.
The screening assessment will take approx. 45minutes Wear your normal running shoes, comfortable running clothing and arrive well hydrated. This assessment will include a functional scan analysing muscle imbalances, patterning, strength, neuromuscular control, as well as a running gait analysis.
THE FINISH LINE
Following your running screen you will be sent a detailed report on both our biomechanical and clinical findings. The report explains the findings and characteristics which are important to help you improve your performance and reduce the risk of injury. These recommendations will help form the basis of your individualised training program.
