Richard Squires: Mt. Laguna ’17

Over the past 4 weeks, SYSSM massage therapist Richard Squires has been over in Mt. Laguna, California with the Melbourne Track Club to help prepare some of Australia and Europe’s leading distance runners for the 2017 season.  Mt. Laguna can be found an hour’s east drive of San Diego up in the Laguna Mountain ranges. Based at over 1,700m altitude, the training base offers the perfect outlet to live high/train low, with only a short drive down to sea level for track workouts. The team will now disperse across the world in the hunt to qualify for this years World Championships to be held in London later this year. Look out for some fast results from our Aussies at the Doha Diamond League and Payton Jordan Invitational (Stanford) this weekend.
