Rob graduated with Masters qualifications in both Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning from the University of Canberra and Edith Cowan University respectively. He has actively been working in private sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement for the last ten years. Rob has a strong background in team ball sports having coached and played state and representative basketball in Victoria for over twenty years.

Rob’s physical performance and rehabilitation interests stemmed from his basketball experience. In particular, while working as a Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning coach with numerous state, national and international junior basketballers. Over time he has developed a keen interest in the return to sport post injury, physical performance enhancement and movement screening and analysis.

Outside of basketball, Rob has conditioned / rehabilitated many athletes from varied number of sports including: Rugby, AFL, Powerlifting, Kayaking, Swimming, Track Cycling and Dodgeball.

Rob has participated in research and tertiary teaching in the Exercise Science and Physiotherapy programs at La Trobe, Deakin and Swinburne Universities. Creating and delivering the Core Advantage Strength and Conditioning Internship Program, assisting Exercise Science graduates transition into the private Strength and Conditioning workforce is his most memorable teaching achievement to date. He maintains his ongoing exposure to high quality research and events through his memberships with both the Australian Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning Associations.

His varied experience with positions as player, coach, Strength & Conditioning coach and Physiotherapist, has formed Rob’s philosophy of patient treatment. He strives to provide everyone with the opportunity to function at the highest level of performance, regardless of your context or athletic background, from Desk Jockey to Olympian.
