Michael Morris

Osteopath
Michael is an Osteopath and Strength and Conditioning Coach here at South Yarra Spine and Sport Medicine. Michael has been an osteopathy for 3 years and over 7 years of experience in the fitness industry. Michael is currently studying a Masters of Applied Sport Science (Strength and conditioning) at Deakin University as well.

Michael has a fascination with anatomy and physiology, human movement, and biomechanics and loves to solve problems using a structural approach, in conjunction with his strong rehabilitation skills. Michael strives to keep learning and improving himself with any opportunity that arises. Michael believes in working consistently with patients to help get them from being injured, to improving their baseline performance.

Michael is also the head sports trainer for the Essendon Football Club VFLW team, where he works with the medical and high-performance teams, to help manage athletes and various acute sporting injuries. Michael also used to work at North Melbourne Football Club as the Osteopath and Rehab Coordinator for the VFLW team and worked in the AFL men’s team as well.
